About us

Valeja was born in the sauna. In that moment when a sauna is not just about heat but about rhythm, atmosphere and feeling. We wanted to make a tool that gives the sauna user more than a traditional ladle: a way to control the power of water and steam precisely and spectacularly – on their own terms.

Each Valeja rain ladle is handcrafted in Finland from powder-coated steel and domestic birch. The materials are chosen to withstand heat, humidity and time, but above all to feel right in the hand. Balance, grip and finish are as important to us as the rain effect itself, which brings the heater to life and the sauna to a multi-level experience.

We believe in Scandinavian design, where every detail serves a purpose. Valeja is made to be used – and loved – year after year. And because every sauna is different, we also design rain tips and attachments that let you adjust the speed and pattern of the water flow. Same ladle, new ways to build a ritual.
