How does the rain cover work?
The machined aluminum Anela rain cover distributes water onto the sauna heater in a controlled and even manner. The cover's operation is based on precise geometry: 23 through-holes, each 2.1 millimeters in diameter, create a consistent rain from the water flow. This optimized flow makes water throwing predictable and helps create a soft, lingering steam.

Precise flow, softer steam
The operation of the Valeja rain ladle is based on controlled water dispensing. When you lift your thumb off the handle seal, air enters the ladle and water is released through the rain cover. The Anela cover's 23 precisely sized holes (Ø 2.1 mm) break the water's surface tension and disperse the water mass into an even rain.

Because the water does not splash onto the sauna heater in one large mass, it has time to vaporize optimally on the surface of the stones. This changes the nature of the steam: instead of sudden and sharp heat, the sauna creates an even, long-lasting, and soft warmth.

Designed to last
Valeja is made from high-quality and durable materials. The ladle body is made of black painted stainless steel, and the handle is Finnish birch. The Anela rain cover is machined from aluminum, which ensures absolute precision of the hole geometry. The product is easy to keep clean: any lime that may accumulate on the rain cover can be removed with regular rinsing or, if necessary, with a mild vinegar solution.
